Account Executive

The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in taking our product to market and managing enterprise level commercial relationships.

Our unique AI-powered natural language processor has worked through billions of data points related to planning applications and further data sets to create a tool that offers tangible, insightful feedback on the likelihood of getting your application accepted.

Planda uses real-time data to assess previous applications that were similar to yours, the performance of those applications in your area, and billions of other references to provide you with the most comprehensive prediction on whether or not your application is likely to get accepted, as well as detailed reasoning as to why.

About this role

The Account Executive will play a pivotal role in taking our product to market and managing enterprise level commercial relationships. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales and increase market penetration. This includes identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively communicating the value proposition of Planda to potential clients. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive brand awareness. Additionally, you will analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth and differentiation.

Some info about the role:

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for Planda, including identifying target markets, developing sales plans, and executing on sales strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, developers, and planning consultants
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and initiatives to generate leads and drive brand awareness
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
  • Track and report on sales performance and KPIs

Must Haves’

  • A passion for sales and business development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Haves’

  • Experience in the real estate or construction industry
  • Knowledge of planning regulations and processes
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Previous experience working in a startup environment
